| Tazewell County Animal Control picks up all pets
running the streets, as well taking in any animal that walks
through the door. Animals that are strays are held for five
business days (not counting the first and fifth day or
weekends). Animals are then evaluated then put up for adoption.
Unfortunatley, we are a kill shelter due to the fact that we can
not turn away any animal by saying that we are full. Adopting
from TCAC you are really saving a life. |

Adoption fees (which includes spay/neuter & microchipping) Dogs
$80.00 Cats $65.00 Kittens
$35.00 (adopter must sign contract to
have pet altered.) Pets that are already spayed/neutered
adoption fee is $50.00. |

Shelter hours are 8-4 Monday -Friday . We are
closed weekends & holidays. |
